Based on studies of motor science, rotational forces and body alignment; The Canali System and Canali Method of strength training implements postural rotation and auxotonic muscle engagement.

The machines move with the person due to the postural rotation the abdominal muscles are stabilized, helping them to work in alignment with the other muscles to protect the spine and joints. 

Innovative auxotonic movement creates resistance that increases in proportion to the shortening of the muscle, allowing better activation throughout the range of movement. The opposite of traditional weight lifting methods, creating the most efficient, effective and safe training system in existence. 
 
Working with your own body weight, simple adjustments allow the user to quickly and safely alter resistance from 2%-300% of their own weight (up to 600% if using the leg press) all without leaving the seat. 

Each lever functions independently allowing for unilateral movement and differentiated resistance per side.

Canali System does not use weight stacks, cables, or pulleys.

Creator

Using his own Canali System Postural Training Method combined with sport specific practices, Professor Vincenzo Canali has trained the Italian national women’s gymnastics team as well as many international professional athletes. He has lectured throughout Europe and the United States. Vincenzo currently teaches at his Postural Education Center in Parma, Italy.

Designer

Canali System's award winning design was meticulously developed by well known Italian designer Massimo Farinatti. Taking inspiration from the postural function of the machines, Massimo designed the seat backs to resemble the human spine. 

The sleek curves of the steel frame create a pleasing aesthetic that not only gives you a competitive edge in function but style as well.
